Developed with Metric Halo, CGII was built for one purpose: to make your masters loud without losing the clarity, density, and heft of the original mix.

Traditional limiters make things louder by crushing dynamics — flattening the material and sucking the life out of the low end. CGII works differently. Its Density processor raises perceived program level by pushing up previously masked low-level detail without touching higher-level peak dynamics, bringing bloom and clarity to the quiet parts. Its Loudness processor delivers a transparent increase in RMS level while keeping peaks below full-scale, exciting harmonics that add character and energy. The result: masters that compete commercially while sounding open, not squashed.

The final stage is an incredibly transparent true-peak lookahead limiter that ensures the true-peak level never exceeds your chosen ceiling — no inter-sample overs, ever. Selectable ceilings (0dB, -0.1dB, -1dB) and a DC-block filter mean CGII can sit at the very end of your master chain as a one-stop shop for final processing, complete with dither (16 to 24-bit) and full LUFS/True Peak metering displayed on gorgeous nixie tubes.
