The pattern instrument provides 194 picking and strumming patterns, while the separate melody instrument lets you play or program your own parts. Native Instruments lists 37 songs within the pattern content, with each song providing related performance material for building cohesive arrangements.
PICKED ACOUSTIC includes two KONTAKT instruments:
Pattern Instrument
Trigger picking rhythms, arpeggios and strumming performances in real time. Patterns can stay synchronized with your host project and can be used as a fast starting point for songwriting and production.
Melody Instrument
Play or program individual guitar parts using articulations including open, muted, flageolet/harmonic and tremolo playing. The official documentation also describes performance techniques such as slides, fret noise, hammer-ons and pull-offs.

Beyond microphone selection, PICKED ACOUSTIC includes stereo width control, doubling and a built-in effects section. Native Instruments lists processing options including delay, plate reverb, chorus, vintage compression and tape saturation.
