RoundTrip by Tokyo Speirs is the plugin you commit before you mix. Built by multi-Platinum, Juno Award-winning producer and engineer Tokyo Speirs (Walk Off The Earth), it recreates the full analog signal path — preamp, console channel, tone box, summing, and tape — in a single plugin, so you can print a cohesive sonic fingerprint to your tracks before moving a single fader.
Instead of stacking separate plugins and second-guessing every move, RoundTrip gives you one curated chain of meticulously modelled classics: choose between a Funky V76 tube pre or a British N73 pre, a punchy American console or a Solid 4E-style desk, British broadcast 6B tube summing, Brit 8048 summing, or 4000-series VCA summing — plus the Shine parallel harmonic stage for high-end excitement and low-end bloom, two classic tape machines (Amped 102 on GP9 or Sturdy A800 on 456), and the Climiter module, transparent at low levels and an extreme clipper at the top.
New in v1.1: Gear Swap and Drift make every instance behave like individual hardware units rather than perfect digital copies — component values roll within real-world tolerances, and Drift lets the unit breathe with a slow wander around its spec, avoiding the “digital buildup” of identical processing across your session. Everything is gain-matched for easy A/B testing.
