Cubase Pro 16 is Steinberg’s brand-new flagship DAW, released November 2026. • Instrument Stacks — layer multiple VST instruments, Sampler Tracks and Drum Tracks into one playable instrument with per-layer filtering and unified control.
• Six-Stem Stem Separation — the new separation algorithm splits any mix into vocals, drums, bass, piano, guitar and other.
• Spectral AudioWarp — extreme time-stretch and pitch-shift algorithms from the HALion team, built for sound design.
• Key Editor upgrades — Strum humanizes chord timing, Stretch Selection bends MIDI passages including accelerandos and ritardandos, and lyrics can now be entered alongside notes.
